The Golden State Warriors play host to the Philadelphia 76ers at the Chase Center on Wednesday night.
The Philadelphia 76ers have been struggling lately as they’ve lost six of their past eight games, but they will be aiming to build some momentum after taking down the Kings in a 102-94 road win on Monday. Tyrese Maxey led the team in scoring with 24 points, Shake Milton added 16 points off the bench while Matisse Thybulle chipped in with 15 points on six of eight shooting. As a team, the 76ers shot just 42 percent from the field and nine of 32 from the 3-point line, but this win was all about their defense as they held the Kings to just 19 points in the second quarter to take the narrow lead into halftime, before holding them to just 12 points in the fourth quarter to escape with the much-needed road win. Andre Drummond scored just nine points but grabbed 23 rebounds with three assists and three blocks.
Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors have been on a tear as they’ve won 11 of their past 12 games and they will be gunning for a fifth straight victory after taking down the Raptors in a 119-104 home win on Sunday. Jordan Poole led the team with 33 points on 10 of 13 shooting, Andrew Wiggins added 32 points on 12 of 20 shooting while Stephen Curry chipped in with 12 points and eight assists on two of 10 shooting. As a team, the Warriors shot 49 percent from the field and a sizzling 22 of 45 from the 3-point line as they stormed out of the gates with 36 points in the first quarter to take the early lead, before pushing the margin to 21 points in the third quarter.
Looking at the betting trends, the 76ers are 7-3-1 ATS in their last 11 road games, 2-6-1 ATS in their last nine games against a team above .600 and 2-5-1 ATS in their last eight games overall. The Warriors are 22-8-1 ATS in their last 31 home games, 7-1-1 ATS in their last nine games following a win of more than 10 points and 20-5-1 ATS in their last 26 games overall.
Head to head, the under is 14-6 in the last 20 meetings overall and the 76ers are 9-4 ATS in the last 13 meetings overall.

The 76ers could again be without Tobias Harris and Seth Curry who are both listed as questionable for this one, but they did put up a great fight in their win over the Kings on Monday. However, the Warriors have been on fire lately and what makes them look so dangerous is that it’s been their role players stepping up like we saw against the Raptors on Sunday. It’s tempting to take the 76ers with the points, but the Warriors have won nine of their 10 home games so far and I can’t see anything but another win for them here. Give me the Warriors to pull away in the second half and win comfortably.
