The Utah Jazz and the Oklahoma City Thunder collide at the Paycom Center on Wednesday night.
The Utah Jazz have been in decent shape as they’ve won four of their past seven games, but they will be eager to bounce back in this one after having their three-game win streak halted by the Grizzlies in a 119-118 home loss on Monday. Bojan Bogdanovic led the team with 24 points on eight of 14 shooting, Rudy Gobert added 23 points, 13 rebounds and five blocks on nine of 10 shooting while Mike Conley chipped in with 19 points and eight assists. As a team, the Jazz shot 47 percent from the field and 17 of 43 from the 3-point line as they poured in 60 points in the first half to build an 11-point lead, only to get edged out in the final seconds as the Grizzlies’ Jaren Jackson Jr. drained the game-winning 3-pointer with 6.7 seconds remaining. Jordan Clarkson had a quiet night as he scored just nine points on three of nine shooting off the bench while Donovan Mitchell shot just five of 20 for his 18 points.
Meanwhile, the Oklahoma City Thunder have been in a real slump as they’ve lost five of their past six games and they will be hoping to avoid a fourth straight defeat after falling to the Hawks in a 113-101 road loss on Monday. Josh Giddey, Luguentz Dort and Ty Jerome each scored 15 points while Jeremiah Robinson chipped in with 13 points and 10 rebounds. As a team, the Thunder shot just 40 percent from the field and 10 of 38 from the 3-point line as they poured in 33 points in the second quarter to hang with the Hawks, but their hard work came undone in the third quarter where they managed just 11 points to fall behind by 22 points. Aleksej Pokusevski scored just nine points on four of 13 shooting while Darius Bazley finished with just four points on two of 11 shooting.
Looking at the betting trends, the Jazz are 7-2 ATS in their last nine games against a team with a losing record and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games against a team below .400. The Thunder are 5-2 ATS in their last seven home games and 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall.
Head to head, the under is 24-9 in the last 33 meetings overall, the Jazz are 3-10 ATS in the last 13 meetings overall and the Jazz are 6-15-1 ATS in the last 22 meetings in Oklahoma City.

The Thunder have really been struggling lately and the bad news is that they will once again be without their best player in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Giddey and Dort both had nice games on Monday, but you just feel that they don’t have nearly enough firepower to hang with the elite defense of the Jazz. The line is quite hefty, but I’m sticking with the Jazz to pull away for the win and cover in this one.
