The Milwaukee Bucks and the Denver Nuggets duke it out at the Ball Arena on Friday night.
The Milwaukee Bucks have been in great shape lately as they’ve won seven of their past nine games and they will be keen to build on their current five-game win streak after making light work of the Pistons in a 114-93 home win on Wednesday. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way with 33 points, seven rebounds and five assists on 12 of 17 shooting, Bobby Portis added 28 points with 10 rebounds while Jrue Holiday chipped in with 22 points, eight rebounds and six assists. As a team, the Bucks shot 48 percent from the field and 15 of 36 from the 3-point line as they poured in 64 points in the first half to take the early lead, before pulling away in the fourth quarter where they held the Pistons to just 19 points to make it a blowout. Khris Middleton had a night to forget as he scored just 11 points on five of 17 from the field.
Meanwhile, the Denver Nuggets have really struggled lately as they are now riding a five-game losing streak after getting routed by the Trailblazers in a 119-100 road loss on Tuesday. Jeff Green led the team with 24 points on nine of 16 shooting, Monte Morris added 16 points while Aaron Gordon and Will Barton each scored 11 points. As a team, the Nuggets shot 48 percent from the field and 15 of 33 from the 3-point line as they struggled from the start and fell behind by 14 points at halftime, before scoring just 21 points in the fourth quarter as the Trailblazers finished with a flurry. JaMychal Green scored just nine points on three of nine shooting while no bench player scored more than eight points.

The Nuggets have really struggled ever since Nikola Jokic went down with injury, but he is currently listed as questionable for this one. The Bucks are starting to heat up now as they’ve won five straight and they’re just about at full strength with Middleton back in the starting lineup. The Nuggets are always tough to beat at home, but they’re just so banged up now, so I think the Bucks stay hot with another win and cover in this spot.
