The Portland Trailblazers pay a visit to the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center on Friday night.
The Portland Trailblazers have been in fine form as they’ve won five of their past seven games, but they will be eager to bounce back in this one after falling painfully short to the Kings in a 125-121 road loss on Wednesday. Damian Lillard led the team with 32 points and 10 assists, Jusuf Nurkic added 28 points with 17 rebounds and five assists, Norman Powell scored 22 points while Nassir Little chipped in with 16 points off the bench. As a team, the Trailblazers shot 46 percent from the field and 12 of 38 from the 3-point line as they poured in 71 points in the first half to take the lead at halftime, but they couldn’t keep it up for the entire game as they managed just 50 points in the second half. CJ McCollum has been in great form for the Trailblazers but had a quiet night of just 13 points and six assists on six of 20 shooting.
Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors have been on fire as they’ve won 16 of their first 18 games of the season, and they will be looking to build on their current five-game win streak after blowing past the 76ers in a 116-96 home win on Wednesday. Stephen Curry led the team with 25 points and 10 assists on nine of 16 shooting, Andrew Wiggins added 19 points while Jordan Poole chipped in with 17 points and six assists. As a team, the Warriors shot 52 percent from the field and 15 of 38 from the 3-point line as they got off to a slow start and fell behind by as many as 19 points in the first half, before coming to life in the second half where they dominated the 76ers by 64-35 to win comfortably in the end.
Looking at the betting trends, the Trailblazers are 1-10 ATS in their last 11 road games and 3-1-1 ATS in their last five games overall. The Warriors are 19-6-1 ATS in their last 26 home games, 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games against a team with a winning record and 21-5-1 ATS in their last 27 games overall.
Head to head, the over is 5-2 in the last seven meetings overall and the Trailblazers are 11-25 ATS in the last 36 meetings in Golden State.

The Trailblazers have started to turn their season around with five wins in their past seven games, but they’ve lost eight of their nine road games this season and they could be without Anfernee Simsons once again. The Warriors have been the benchmark of the league from opening night and their confidence must be sky-high after rallying back from a 19-point deficit with ease on Wednesday. The Trailblazers are only 1-10 ATS in their last 11 road games while the Warriors are 19-6-1 ATS in their last 26 home games. Give me the Warriors to stay hot with another win and cover at home.
