The Phoenix Suns play host to the Indiana Pacers at the Footprint Center on Saturday night.

The Indiana Pacers have been in a real slump as they’ve lost 10 of their past 13 games overall, but they will be aiming for a third straight victory after outlasting the Warriors in a 121-117 overtime road win on Thursday. Chris Duarte led the team with 27 points on 10 of 16 shooting, Justin Holiday added 16 points while Goga Bitadze chipped in with 13 points, nine rebounds and five assists. As a team, the Pacers shot just 43 percent from the field and 15 of 35 from the 3-point line as they held the Warriors to just 20 points in the third quarter to rally back from an early nine-point deficit, before closing the game on an 11-2 run in the final 3:12 to escape with the shock upset. O’Shae Brissett had a night to forget as he finished with just two points on zero of seven shooting off the bench.

Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns have been in red-hot form as they’ve won eight of their last nine games overall and they will be looking to build on their current five-game win streak after beating the Mavericks in a 109-101 road win on Thursday. Devin Booker led the team with 28 points and six assists, Chris Paul added 20 points with 11 assists while Mikal Bridges chipped in with 13 points, eight rebounds, six assists and four steals. As a team, the Suns shot 45 percent from the field and eight of 36 from the 3-point line as they struggled to get going and trailed by as many as 12 points, before coming to life in the fourth quarter where they outscored the Mavericks by 35-19 to win comfortably in the end. Defensively, the Suns were clearly the superior team on this occasion as they forced the Mavericks into 19 turnovers compared to their seven.

Looking at the betting trends, the Pacers are 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team above .600 and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games following a win. The Suns are 5-0 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record and 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall.

Head to head, the under is 6-1 in the last seven meetings in Phoenix, the Pacers are 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings overall and the Pacers are 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings in Phoenix.

The Pacers are going to be severely shorthanded once again as Domantas Sabonis, Myles Turner and TJ McConnell are all out, while Caris LeVert and Malcolm Brogdon are listed as questionable. In contrast, the Suns are almost at full strength except for DeAndre Ayton and Abdel Nader who are both still out. The Pacers did a great job of rallying together and taking down the Warriors in a major upset on Thursday, but it’s going to be tough to replicate that effort against one of the hottest teams in the league in the Suns. The line is quite hefty, but the Suns have been rolling through teams lately and I think they stay hot with another win and cover at home.
