The Indiana Pacers pay a visit to the Brooklyn Nets at the Barclays Center on Sunday afternoon.

The Indiana Pacers have been in a real slump as they’ve lost 14 of their last 17 games and they will be hoping to put an end to a nine-game slide after getting routed by the 76ers in a 133-120 road loss last night. Oshae Brissett led the team with 20 points, Tyrese Haliburton added 19 points with nine assists while Isaiah Jackson chipped in with 16 points, seven rebounds and two blocks. As a team, the Pacers shot 52 percent from the field and 10 of 23 from the 3-point line, but they let themselves down on the defensive end as they were always fighting an uphill battle after allowing the 76ers to pour in 37 points in the first quarter to trail by 21 points early.

Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Nets have been in fine form as they’ve won seven of their last 11 games overall and they will be gunning for a fourth straight victory after routing the Cavaliers in a 118-107 win on Friday. Kevin Durant led the team with 36 points and five assists, Bruce Brown racked up 18 points with 10 rebounds and eight assists, Kyrie Irving added 18 points with eight assists while Andre Drummond chipped in with 15 points and 12 rebounds. As a team, the Nets shot 46 percent from the field and 12 of 32 from the 3-point line as they squandered an early 17-point lead, before they poured in 35 points in the fourth quarter to pull away and escape with the win to move into seventh place in the Eastern Conference.

Looking at the betting trends, the Pacers are 4-0 ATS in their last four games against a team with a winning record, 15-6 ATS in their last 21 games playing on zero days’ rest and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall. The Nets are 6-25-1 ATS in their last 32 home games and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall.

Head to head, the under is 7-2 in the last nine meetings in Brooklyn and the Pacers are 7-1 ATS in the last eight meetings in Brooklyn.

The Pacers have been dealing with injuries all season and they still have seven players listed on the injury report, while the Nets are missing Goran Dragic and Ben Simmons, while Seth Curry is listed as probable. The Pacers are coming into this meeting ice-cold and low on confidence after last night’s big loss to the 76ers, while the Nets are starting to heat up and they will be well-rested for this one. The line is scary, but I think the Nets cruise in this spot.
