The Sacramento Kings and Los Angeles Lakers meet Tuesday in NBA Summer League action at the Chase Center. The Sacramento Kings look to end the summer league with a 3-0 record. The Los Angeles Lakers also look to wrap up with an undefeated record.

The Sacramento Kings are averaging 83.5 points on 45.1 percent shooting and allowing 68 points on 39.3 percent shooting. Keegan Murray is averaging 17.5 points and 8.5 rebounds, while Neemias Queta is averaging 13 points and 5 rebounds. Alex O’Connell is the third double-digit scorer and Keon Ellis is grabbing 5.5 rebounds. The Sacramento Kings are shooting 22.6 percent from beyond the arc and 90 percent from the free throw line. The Sacramento Kings are allowing 22.2 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 42.5 rebounds per game.

The Los Angeles Lakers are averaging 100 points on 48.9 percent shooting and allowing 66 points on 28 percent shooting. Cole Swider is averaging 14.5 points and 4.5 rebounds, while Scotty Pippen Jr. is averaging 14.5 points and 3.5 rebounds. Paris Bass is the third double-digit scorer and Jay Huff is grabbing 6.5 rebounds. The Los Angeles Lakers are shooting 39.2 percent from beyond the arc and 84.2 percent from the free throw line. The Los Angeles Lakers are allowing 34.6 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 46.5 rebounds per game.

The Los Angeles Lakers and the free bucket is very appealing based on what they’ve done through 2 games, as they appear to be firing on all cylinders and their offense has been widely impressive. With that said, the Sacramento Kings aren’t that far behind, and they’ve been on a summer league tear dating back to last year when they won the tournament in Las Vegas. A lot of those players are on this roster as well. If it’s not broken, don’t fix it. Should be a fun game, but I have to side with the Kings, a club that appears to be the best summer league team in the league.
