The Los Angeles Clippers invade the Chase Center to battle the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night.

The Los Angeles Clippers have been in great form as they’ve won six of their last eight games overall and they will be gunning for a fourth straight victory after taking down the Jazz in a 121-114 home win on Monday. Norman Powell led the team with 30 points on 10 of 15 shooting off the bench, Reggie Jackson added 27 points while Ivica Zubac chipped in with 14 points, 14 rebounds and two blocks. As a team, the Clippers shot 51 percent from the field and nine of 24 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in trouble after they let go of a 17-point lead, but they didn’t panic and dominated the fourth quarter by 33-21 to escape with the narrow win.

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors have been in decent shape as they’ve won five of their last eight games overall, but they will be eager to bounce back here after getting embarrassed by the Pelicans in a 128-83 road loss on Monday. Jordan Poole led the team with 26 points on nine of 18 shooting, Jonathan Kuminga added 18 points while Moses Moody chipped in with 10 points off the bench. As a team, the Warriors shot just 37 percent from the field and 10 of 43 from the 3-point line as they were slow to find their offense and never looked like they had a chance after a horror 35-16 first quarter. The Warriors decided to rest Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins and the Pelicans just didn’t show any mercy to the reserves.

Looking at the betting trends, the Clippers are 4-0 ATS in their last four road games, 5-2 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a losing record and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall. The Warriors are 20-8 ATS in their last 28 home games, 6-1 ATS in their last seven games following a loss of more than 10 points and 5-12 ATS in their last 17 games overall.

Head to head, the under is 5-2 in the last seven meetings overall and the Clippers are 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings in Golden State.

The Clippers are going to be shorthanded here as Paul George, Luke Kennard and Kawhi Leonard have all been ruled out, while the Warriors should have all their key players back in action after they were rested on Monday. The Clippers come into this matchup as the team in better form, but they’re banged up right now, while the Warriors are fully rested. I think the Warriors bounce back from their embarrassing loss on Monday with a win and cover at home.
