The New Orleans Pelicans travel to the FedExForum to battle the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night.

The New Orleans Pelicans have been in great form as they are now looking to build on their five-game win streak after beating the red-hot 76ers in a 127-116 home win last night. CJ McCollum drained a career-high 11 3-pointers to led the way with 42 points and five assists, Zion Williamson added 36 points on 13 of 19 shooting while Willy Hernangomez chipped in with 13 points off the bench. As a team, the Pelicans shot 53 percent from the field and 15 of 31 from the 3-point line as they got off to a sluggish start and had to claw their way back from an early 10-point deficit, but they were always in control once they took the lead in a game where they led by as many as 17 points at one stage.

Meanwhile, the Memphis Grizzlies have been in a bit of a rut as they’ve lost four of their past six games, but they will be looking to get on a roll after routing the Raptors in a 119-106 road win on Thursday. Dillon Brooks led the team with 25 points and six assists, Ja Morant added 19 points with 17 assists while Desmond Bane chipped in with 16 points. As a team, the Grizzlies shot 50 percent from the field and 13 of 29 from the 3-point line, but this win was more about their effort on defense as they were always in control after holding the Raptors to just 43 points in the first half.

Looking at the betting trends, the Pelicans are 1-10 ATS in their last 10 Saturday games and 0-4 ATS in their last four road games against a team with a home record above .600. The Grizzlies are 36-15-1 ATS in their last 52 home games and 17-8 ATS in their last 25 games against a team above .600.

Head to head, the over is 4-1 in the last five meetings overall and the Pelicans are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings overall.

The Pelicans are going to be shorthanded again as Larry Nance Jr and Brandon Ingram are both out again, while the Grizzlies are keeping an eye on Santi Aldama who is questionable with an ankle injury. The Pelicans are coming into this one as the team in better form and they would’ve taken so much confidence from their big win over the 76ers last night, while the Grizzlies have really cooled off lately despite having all their key players healthy. I like the Pelicans, but it’s tough to play the Grizzlies on zero days rest and I think that will be the difference in a close one.
