The Los Angeles Lakers and the Milwaukee Bucks collide at the Fiserv Forum on Friday night.

The Los Angeles Lakers have been a team on the rise as they’ve won six of their last eight games and they will be eager to stay hot after blowing past the shorthanded Trail Blazers in a 128-109 home win on Wednesday. LeBron James led the team with 31 points, seven rebounds and eight assists, Anthony Davis added 27 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks while Austin Reaves chipped in with 22 points on seven of 10 shooting. As a team, the Lakers shot 49 percent from the field and 14 of 37 from the 3-point line as they went back and forth with the Trail Blazers in a real tight contest until the third quarter where they held the Trail Blazers to just 20 points to pull away and escape with the much-needed win.

Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks have been in fine form as they’ve won four of their last six games and they will be aiming for a fourth straight victory after sneaking past the Knicks in a 109-103 road win on Wednesday. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the team with 37 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists, Jrue Holiday added 22 points with five assists while Grayson Allen chipped in with 11 points. As a team, the Bucks shot just 43 percent from the field and 10 of 35 from the 3-point line, but they committed just five turnovers while holding the Knicks to just 42 percent shooting which was enough to get the job done in a tight finish.

Looking at the betting trends, the Lakers are 2-6 ATS in their last eight road games, 0-6 ATS in their last six games against a team with a winning record and 6-2 ATS in their last eight games overall. The Bucks are 9-4 ATS in their last 13 home games and 1-4-1 ATS in their last six games following a win.

Head to head, the under is 6-1 in the last seven meetings overall and the Lakers are 3-7 ATS in the last 10 meetings overall.

The Lakers could be shorthanded again as Dennis Schroder and Lonnie Walker are both questionable, while the Bucks are still without Serge Ibaka, but Khris Middleton is listed as probable for this one which would be a major boost to the team. The Lakers are coming into this meeting with plenty of momentum and they would love to keep it going with an upset win here, but the Bucks have managed to continue to pile on the wins despite all the injuries and they are deserved favorites in this one. The Lakers are 0-6 ATS in their last six games against a team with a winning record and I think that trend continues here as the Bucks get the job done at home.
