The Oklahoma City Thunder play host to the Philadelphia 76ers at the Wells Fargo Center on Saturday night.

The Philadelphia 76ers look to have cooled off from their eight-game win streak as they have now lost two in a row after getting routed by the Pelicans in a 127-116 road defeat last night. Joel Embiid led the team with 37 points, eight rebounds and five assists, James Harden added 20 points with 10 assists while Tobias Harris chipped in with 14 points, but no other player scored more than 11 points. As a team, the 76ers shot 56 percent from the field and 14 of 34 from the 3-point line as they got off to a flyer to take an early 10-point lead, but they just had no answer for the Pelicans from the second quarter onwards as they couldn’t get back in front after giving up the lead. Harden had a rough game as he finished with seven turnovers while Embiid finished with five turnovers himself.

Meanwhile, the Oklahoma City Thunder have been in decent shape as they’ve won four of their last six games overall, but they will be looking to bounce back in this one after coming up short to the struggling Hornets in a 121-113 road loss on Thursday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the team with 28 points and five assists on 11 of 23 shooting, Luguentz Dort added 22 points while Josh Giddey chipped in with 21 points, 10 rebounds and three assists. As a team, the Thunder shot just 42 percent from the field and 11 of 36 from the 3-point line as they held the Hornets to just 21 points in the second quarter to overcome an early deficit, only to allow the Hornets to close the final 4:14 on an 18-10 run to steal the game from them in the end.

Looking at the betting trends, the 76ers are 1-4 ATS in their last five road games and 5-1 ATS in their last six games playing on zero days rest. The Thunder are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games and 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games against a team above .600.

Head to head, the under is 13-6 in the last 19 meetings overall.

The 76ers could really do with a win after dropping their last two games, but they are going to be playing on zero days rest against a Thunder team who were on a nice run before they dropping a game against the lowly Hornets on Thursday. The 76ers are clearly the better team with more momentum, but the Thunder are capable of beating any good team on their day, so I like them to pull off the minor upset in this spot.
