The Sacramento Kings play host to the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Golden 1 Center on Wednesday night.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have been the surprise team of the league so far and they will be hoping to bounce back after having their eight-game win streak halted by the Clippers in a shocking 119-117 road loss on Monday. Donovan Mitchell drained eight 3-pointers to lead the way with 30 points on 10 of 15 shooting, Evan Mobley added 26 points on 12 of 18 shooting before fouling out, Darius Garland tallied 19 points with 12 assists while Jarrett Allen scored 10 points with 20 rebounds. As a team, the Cavaliers shot 51 percent from the field and 16 of 33 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 37 points in the first quarter and controlled most of the game to build a 13-point lead in the fourth quarter, but they lost focus late in the game and it cost them as the Clippers closed the game on a 21-6 run to escape with the win.

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings have been searching for consistency as they’ve lost six of their first nine games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back after coming up just short to the Warriors in a 116-113 road loss on Monday. De’Aaron Fox led the way with 28 points and six assists, Malik Monk added 24 points, six rebounds and four assists while Domantas Sabonis chipped in with 19 points, 14 rebounds and six assists. As a team, the Kings shot just 40 percent from the field and 14 of 40 from the 3-point line as they rallied back from a 12-point deficit to lead by 10 points in the fourth quarter, only to come up just short as the Warriors closed the final 6:00 on a 24-13 run to steal the game from them in the end.

Looking at the betting trends, the Cavaliers are 4-1 ATS in their last five road games, 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record and 8-1 ATS in their last nine games overall. The Kings are 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall.

Head to head, the under is 5-0 in the last five meetings overall and the Cavaliers are 2-7 ATS in the last nine meetings overall.

The Cavaliers were the hottest team in the league as they were riding an eight-game win streak and looked set for win number nine before the Clippers closed the game on a 21-6 run to snatch the game from them in the end. The Kings haven’t been in great shape, but they would’ve taken plenty of confidence from their near win over the Warriors on Monday. The Kings are capable of pulling off the upset here, but based on recent form, there’s no going past the Cavaliers to bounce back and start another win streak in this spot.
