The Los Angeles Lakers and Chicago Bulls meet Wednesday in NBA action at the United Center. Let’s preview this game and give out a pick and prediction.

The Los Angeles Lakers are averaging 116.4 points on 47.8 percent shooting and allowing 116.8 points on 46.8 percent shooting. LeBron James is averaging 29.5 points and 8.4 rebounds, while Anthony Davis is averaging 25.8 points and 12.5 rebounds. D’Angelo Russell is the third double-digit scorer and Dennis Schroder is grabbing 2.5 rebounds. The Los Angeles Lakers are shooting 34 percent from beyond the arc and 77.8 percent from the free throw line. The Los Angeles Lakers are allowing 34.1 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 45.6 rebounds per game.

The Chicago Bulls are averaging 113.4 points on 49 percent shooting and allowing 112.2 points on 46.6 percent shooting. DeMar DeRozan is averaging 25.1 points and 5 assists, while Zach LaVine is averaging 25 points and 4.6 rebounds. Nikola Vucevic is the third double-digit scorer and Patrick Williams is grabbing 4.1 rebounds. The Chicago Bulls are shooting 36.7 percent from beyond the arc and 81.1 percent from the free throw line. The Chicago Bulls are allowing 35.4 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 42.7 rebounds per game.

The Lakers are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 Wednesday games and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games overall. The Bulls are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 Wednesday games and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The under is 11-5-1 in Lakers last 17 overall. The over is 4-1 in Bulls last 5 overall. The Lakers are 5-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings in Chicago.

The Chicago Bulls have played well these last couple of weeks, but I do think it’s fair to say the Lakers are the better side, especially when healthy. Assuming AD and LeBron can go, I’d think they can get their act together and get revenge for their recent effort against the Bulls. Big game for both teams in terms of staying out of the play-in tournament, but I lean Lakers grinding it out.
