The Denver Nuggets play host to the Chicago Bulls at the Ball Arena on Wednesday night.

The Chicago Bulls have been in a major slump as they’ve lost nine of their last 12 games overall and they will be hoping to avoid a third straight defeat after falling just short to the Pacers in a 125-122 loss on Sunday. Zach LaVine led the team with 42 points on 13 of 23 shooting, DeMar DeRozan added 23 points on nine of 16 shooting while Nikola Vucevic tallied 12 points with nine rebounds and five assists. As a team, the Bulls shot a sizzling 60 percent from the field and 10 of 22 from the 3-point line as they fought hard to get back into the contest after allowing 37 points in the second quarter, only to see the Pacers’ Tyrese Haliburton drain the game-winning 3-pointer with just 2.1 seconds left on the clock.

Meanwhile, the Denver Nuggets have been in red-hot form as they’ve reeled off eight wins in their last nine outings and they will be gunning for a fifth straight win after sneaking past the Raptors in a 118-113 win on Monday. Jamal Murray led the team with 24 points and five assists on nine of 14 shooting, Michael Porter Jr. added 20 points while Aaron Gordon chipped in with 19 points, six rebounds and five assists. As a team, the Nuggets shot 50 percent from the field and 13 of 33 from the 3-point line as they got off to a sluggish start and trailed the Raptors for most of the contest, before they clicked into gear with 35 points in the fourth quarter to keep their win streak alive.

Looking at the betting trends, the Bulls are 0-6 ATS in their last six road games, 1-6 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record and 0-4 ATS in their last four games overall. The Nuggets are 20-8 ATS in their last 28 home games, 5-2 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a losing record and 7-2 ATS in their last nine games overall.

Head to head, the over is 7-0 in the last seven meetings in Denver and the Bulls are 4-10 ATS in the last 14 meetings in Denver.

The Bulls have gone cold as they’ve lost nine of their last 12 games and their confidence took another hit after falling short against the slumping Pacers in their last outing. The Nuggets have been rolling through teams on a nightly basis and there’s little reason they shouldn’t cruise in this one against the struggling Bulls team who are 0-6 ATS in their last six road games and only 4-10 ATS in the last 14 meetings in Denver. Give me the Nuggets to continue their strong form with another win and cover at home.
