The Dallas Mavericks and the Memphis Grizzlies duke it out at the FedExForum on Monday night.

The Dallas Mavericks have been in decent shape as they’ve split their last eight games overall and they will be aiming for a third straight victory after outlasting the Lakers in a 111-110 road win on Friday. Kyrie Irving led the way with 38 points, six rebounds and six assists, Christian Wood and Tim Hardaway each scored 12 points while Maxi Kleber chipped in with 10 points. As a team, the Mavericks shot 50 percent from the field and 16 of 34 from the 3-point line as they went back and forth with the Lakers in a close contest, until the very end where Kleber drained the game-winning 3-pointer to steal the game in the end.

Meanwhile, the Memphis Grizzlies have been dealing with injuries for a while now, but that hasn’t slowed them down as they’ve now won five of their last six games after routing the Warriors in a 133-119 win on Saturday. Jaren Jackson Jr led the team with 31 points, seven rebounds and three assists, Desmond Bane added 26 points on 10 of 17 shooting while Dillon Brooks chipped in with 18 points on seven of 10 shooting. As a team, the Grizzlies shot 54 percent from the field and 18 of 38 from the 3-point line as they stormed out of the gates with 71 points in the first half to take a 12-point lead into halftime, before they restricted the Warriors to just 19 points in the fourth quarter to pull away and make it a blowout in the end.

Looking at the betting trends, the Mavericks are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record, 7-3 ATS in their last 10 road games and 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games overall. The Grizzlies are 42-18-1 ATS in their last 61 home games and 5-2 ATS in their last seven home games against a team with a losing road record.

Head to head, the under is 6-1 in the last seven meetings overall, the Mavericks are 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings in Memphis and the Mavericks are 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings overall.

The Mavericks could be shorthanded once again as Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving and Markieff Morris are all listed as questionable, while the Grizzlies have ruled out Ja Morant and Steven Adams with Jaren Jackson Jr listed as questionable. The Mavericks are starting to build some momentum after struggling for a long time, but they could be severely shorthanded again which makes this one tough to pick. The Grizzlies have shown that they’re better equipped to win without their best players and I think we’re going to see that once again in this matchup unless Doncic or Irving can suit up.
