The Los Angeles Clippers pay a visit to the Memphis Grizzlies at the FedExForum on Wednesday night.

The Los Angeles Clippers are starting to heat up as they’ve won seven of their last 10 games overall and they will be eager to stay hot after routing the Bulls in a 124-112 home win on Monday. Nicolas Batum drained eight 3-pointers to lead the team with 24 points and five assists while Kawhi Leonard and Eric Gordon each scored 22 points. As a team, the Clippers shot a healthy 59 percent from the field and 20 of 40 from the 3-point line as they got off to a slow start, before they poured in 72 points in the second and third quarters combined to lead by as many as 25 points in this one.

Meanwhile, the Memphis Grizzlies have been in red-hot form as they’ve won 10 of their last 11 games overall and they will be gunning for an eighth straight victory after sneaking past the Magic in a 113-108 home win last night. Desmond Bane led the team with 31 points and five assists, Xavier Tillman added 20 points with nine rebounds while Jaren Jackson Jr and Luke Kennard scored 16 points apiece. As a team, the Grizzlies shot 47 percent from the field and 12 of 34 from the 3-point line as they stormed out of the gates with 32 points in the first quarter to build a 23-point lead which proved to be just enough in the end as the Magic rallied to cut the lead to just three points.

Looking at the betting trends, the Clippers are 9-4 ATS in their last 13 road games, 2-5 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record and 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games playing on one days rest. The Grizzlies are 43-19-2 ATS in their last 64 home games and 3-1-1 ATS in their last five games overall.

Head to head, the over is 5-0 in the last five meetings overall, the Clippers are 0-5 ATS in the last five meetings overall and the Clippers are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings in Memphis.

The Clippers have ruled out Paul George again and they have listed Norman Powell as questionable, while the Grizzlies are again missing Brandon Clarke and Steven Adams. The Clippers have continued to play solid basketball despite the absence of two key players and you could say the same about the Grizzlies who are probably the hottest team in the league right now. It’s hard to split these two at the moment, but the Grizzlies are 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings overall and I think that trend continues here as the Grizzlies get the job done at home.
