The Brooklyn Nets pay a visit to the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Paycom Center on Tuesday night.

The Brooklyn Nets have been in great form as they’ve won five of their last six games overall and they will be gunning for a third straight victory after sneaking past the Nuggets in a 122-120 road win on Sunday. Mikal Bridges led the team with 25 points, Nic Claxton added 20 points on eight of nine shooting while Dorian Finney-Smith and Spencer Dinwiddie scored 15 points apiece. As a team, the Nets shot 50 percent from the field and 17 of 44 from the 3-point line as they exploded for 37 points in the third quarter to overcome a 10-point deficit and lead by 15 points, before they held off a furious fourth rally from the Nuggets in the fourth quarter to escape with the narrow win with free throws down the stretch.

Meanwhile, the Oklahoma City Thunder are in similar form as they’ve reeled off five wins in their past six outings and they will be gunning for a third straight win after routing the Spurs in a 102-90 road win on Sunday. Jalen Williams led the team with 21 points, seven rebounds and 10 assists, Ousmane Dieng added 17 points off the bench while Josh Giddey tallied 15 points with 11 rebounds and five assists. As a team, the Thunder shot 37 percent from the field and 10 of 39 from the 3-point line as they set the tone defensively and held the Spurs to just 19 points in the first quarter to take the early lead, but they couldn’t break free from the pesky Spurs until the fourth quarter where their defense was the difference again.

Looking at the betting trends, the Nets are 5-0 ATS in their last five road games, 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record and 6-0 ATS in their last six games overall. The Thunder are 2-6-1 ATS in their last nine games against a team with a winning record, 15-5-3 ATS in their last 23 games following a win of more than 10 points and 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall.

Head to head, the over is 4-1 in the last five meetings overall, the Nets are 2-5 ATS in the last seven meetings overall and the Nets are 7-2 ATS in the last nine meetings in Oklahoma City.

The Nets are shorthanded once again as Ben Simmons is still out, while the Thunder are keeping an eye on Shai Gilgeous-Alexander who is currently listed as day to day. The Nets have been playing some of their best basketball since the trade deadline and they will be full of confidence after outlasting the Nuggets in a thriller on Sunday. The Thunder are also coming into this game with plenty of winning momentum and it’s no surprise that they’ve opened as slight favorites at home. It’s hard to split these two teams at the moment, but the Nets are 5-0 ATS in their last five road games and 7-2 ATS in last nine meetings in Oklahoma City, so I’ll side with the Nets in what should be a close one.
