The Oklahoma City Thunder play host to the Houston Rockets at the Paycom Center on Saturday night.

The Houston Rockets have been in decent shape as they’ve split their last six games, but they will be hoping to bounce back here after having their two-game win streak halted by the Raptors in a 117-111 loss last night. Eric Gordon led the team with 28 points and five assists on 10 of 15 shooting, Alperen Sengun added 21 points while Kenyon Martin Jr. chipped in with 20 points, six rebounds and three assists. As a team, the Rockets shot 50 percent from the field and seven of 21 from the 3-point line as they leaked 35 points in the second quarter to fall behind going into halftime and things only got worse in the third quarter where they trailed by as many as 19 points.

Meanwhile, the Oklahoma City Thunder have been in decent shape as they’ve won six of their last 10 games overall, but they will be hoping to snap a two-game skid after falling short to the lowly Rockets in a 112-106 road loss on Wednesday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the team with 24 points, eight rebounds and four assists, Josh Giddey tallied 20 points, eight rebounds and eight assists while Tre Mann chipped in with 18 points in just 17 minutes off the bench. As a team, the Thunder shot just 36 percent from the field and 12 of 43 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in control when they held the Rockets to just 17 points in the third quarter to erase a 12-point deficit, only to go cold and score just 20 points in the fourth quarter to allow the Rockets off the hook in the end.

Looking at the betting trends, the Rockets are 1-8 ATS in their last nine road games, 27-55 ATS in their last 82 games against a team with a losing record and 3-11 ATS in their last 14 games overall. The Thunder are 5-2 ATS in their last seven home games, 14-6 ATS in their last 20 games playing on two days rest and 9-3-1 ATS in their last 13 games overall.

Head to head, the under is 17-8 in the last 25 meetings in Oklahoma City, the Rockets are 2-8 ATS in the last 10 meetings in Oklahoma City and the Rockets are 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings overall.

The Rockets are still shorthanded with Jalen Green and Kevin Porter Jr both out, while the Thunder are still without Aleksej Pokusevski and Luguentz Dort. The Rockets have been cold all season and they are 1-8 ATS in their last nine road games and 2-8 ATS in the last 10 meetings in Oklahoma City. With that being said, I’ll lean towards the Thunder to get the job done here.
