The Orlando Magic play host to the Brooklyn Nets at the Amway Center on Sunday night.

The Brooklyn Nets have been in poor form as they were on a five-game losing streak before they snapped out of it with a 129-100 road win over the Heat last night. Mikal Bridges led the team with 27 points and seven assists, Cam Johnson added 23 points on nine of 13 shooting while Spencer Dinwiddie chipped in with 15 points, seven rebounds and nine assists. As a team, the Nets shot 49 percent from the field and 18 of 40 from the 3-point line as they got off to a sloppy start and fell behind by 14 points right away, before they dominated the second half by 64-31 to pull off one of their most dominant wins of the season.

Meanwhile, the Orlando Magic are starting to heat up again with three wins in their last four outings and they will be aiming for a third straight victory after sneaking past the Knicks in a 111-106 win on Thursday. Paolo Banchero led the team with 21 points, six rebounds and four assists, Cole Anthony added 18 points off the bench while Wendell Carter Jr and Franz Wagner each scored 16 points. As a team, the Magic shot 46 percent from the field and 13 of 32 from the 3-point line as they kept the Knicks quiet in the first half and led by as many as 19 points, before they finished with a flurry in the fourth after watching their lead get erased.

Looking at the betting trends, the Nets are 5-1 ATS in their last six road games, 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record and 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall. The Magic are 1-6 ATS in their last seven home games, 19-7 ATS in their last 26 games against a team with a winning record and 5-0 ATS in their last five games overall.

Head to head, the Nets are 4-10 ATS in the last 14 meetings overall.

The Nets are shorthanded again as Seth Curry is still out, while the Magic are still missing Jalen Suggs and Franz Wagner. The Nets were really struggling during their five-game slide before they stopped the rot with a big win over the Heat last night, but now they’re playing on zero days rest against the Magic who have quietly been playing some solid basketball lately. The Nets are only 4-10 ATS in the last 14 meetings overall and the Magic have the advantage of extra rest as they haven’t played since Thursday, so I’ll lean towards the Magic to take care of business at home.
