The Portland Trail Blazers play host to the Chicago Bulls at the Moda Center on Friday night.

The Chicago Bulls have been in decent shape as they’ve won five of their last seven games overall, but they will be eager to bounce back here after having their three-game win streak halted by the 76ers in a 116-91 loss on Wednesday. Coby White led the team in scoring with 19 points off the bench, Zach LaVine added 16 points while Ayo Dosunmu chipped in with 14 points off the bench. As a team, the Bulls shot 41 percent from the field and just six of 25 from the 3-point line as they got off to a poor start and were just never in the contest after allowing the 76ers to explode for 76 points in the first half.

Meanwhile, the Portland Trail Blazers have been in a real slump as they’ve lost nine of their last 12 games overall, but they will be feeling a little better after putting a halt to a six-game losing streak with a 127-115 road win at Utah on Wednesday. Damian Lillard led the way with 30 points, seven rebounds and 12 assists, Shaedon Sharpe added 24 points while Trendon Watford chipped in with 21 points, nine rebounds and five assists. As a team, the Trail Blazers shot 48 percent from the field and 13 of 41 from the 3-point line as they took control of the contest with 39 points in the second quarter before they finished with a flurry of 36 points in the fourth to earn the much-needed blowout victory.

Looking at the betting trends, the Bulls are 2-6-1 ATS in their last nine road games, 0-3-1 ATS in their last four games against a team with a losing record and 1-4-1 ATS in their last six games overall. The Trail Blazers are 0-4 ATS in their last four home games, 4-0 ATS in their last four games against a team with a losing record and 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall.

Head to head, the under is 6-2 in the last eight meetings in Portland.

The Bulls could be shorthanded once again as Alex Caruso and DeMar DeRozan are both questionable, while the Trail Blazers will be missing Jerami Grant and Anfernee Simons, while Jusuf Nurkic is listed as questionable. Both teams could be missing some key players which makes this one tricky to predict, but the Bulls have clearly been the team in better form and they represent decent value with the line so short in this spot.
