The Sacramento Kings play host to the Golden State Warriors in a pivotal Game 5 at the Golden 1 Center on Wednesday night.

The Golden State Warriors needed to find their form quickly after dropping the first two games of the series, but they were able to get the job done and are now just two wins from advancing after beating the Kings by 126-125 in Game 4 on Sunday. Stephen Curry led the team with 32 points, five rebounds and four assists on 11 of 22 shooting, Klay Thompson added 26 points on nine of 15 shooting, Jordan Poole scored 22 points while Andrew Wiggins chipped in with 18 points, eight rebounds and four blocks. As a team, the Warriors shot 50 percent from the field and 14 of 34 from the 3-point line as they exploded for 37 points in the third quarter to erase a nine-point deficit and lead by 10 points which was just enough to hold off a late rally from the Kings.

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings will be hoping to bounce back in this one and reclaim the series lead after coming up painfully short on Sunday. De’Aaron Fox led the team with 38 points, nine rebounds and five assists on 14 of 31 shooting, Keegan Murray added 23 points, Malik Monk scored 16 points off the bench while Domantas Sabonis tallied 14 points with seven rebounds and eight assists. As a team, the Kings shot 47 percent from the field and 14 of 35 from the 3-point line as they got off to a solid start and took the lead into halftime, before they leaked 37 points in the third quarter which proved costly as they lost by one point in the end.

Looking at the betting trends, the Warriors are 15-36-1 ATS in their last 52 road games, 2-5 ATS in their last seven games following a win and 1-5 ATS in their last six Conference Quarterfinals games. The Kings are 10-3 ATS in their last 13 games following a loss and 17-8 ATS in their last 25 games after allowing more than 125 points in their previous game.

Head to head, the under is 4-1-1 in the last six meetings in Sacramento, the Warriors are 2-6 ATS in the last eight meetings overall and the Warriors are 3-7 ATS in the last 10 meetings in Sacramento.

The Warriors didn’t panic when they dropped the first two games of the series and now, they are in prime position to take the series lead after winning the last two games. The Kings will be kicking themselves after losing by one point on Sunday and they could be shorthanded here with De’Aaron Fox listed as doubtful on the injury report. Be sure to check the lineups before tipoff, but assuming that Fox isn’t able to suit up, I’ll lean towards the Warriors to get the win and cover in this one as the Kings aren’t nearly as dangerous without Fox on the court.
