The Washington Wizards travel to the Scotiabank Arena to take on the Toronto Raptors on Sunday night.

The Washington Wizards have been in a real funk as they’ve lost seven of their last nine games overall, but they will be feeling better after stopping a four-game skid with a 136-124 win over the Spurs on Friday. Corey Kispert led the team with 26 points on nine of 14 shooting, Delon Wright added 24 points, seven rebounds and three assists, Kristaps Porzingis added 23 points while Deni Avdija chipped in with 21 points, 11 rebounds and six assists. As a team, the Wizards shot 60 percent from the field and 15 of 30 from the 3-point line as they stayed within striking distance all the way until the fourth quarter where the Wizards exploded for 37 points to make it a blowout in the end.

Meanwhile, the Toronto Raptors have been in decent shape as they’ve won four of their last six games overall and they will be itching to stay hot after taking down the lowly Pistons in a 118-97 home win on Friday. Pascal Siakam led the team with 32 points and nine assists on 12 of 19 shooting, Chris Boucher added 19 points with 13 rebounds and two blocks, Fred VanVleet added 18 points while OG Anunoby chipped in with 17 points on seven of 11 shooting. As a team, the Raptors shot 44 percent from the field and 13 of 37 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 72 points in the first half to build a 27-point lead that was never in danger in the second half.

Looking at the betting trends, the Wizards are 0-4 ATS in their last four road games, 13-6 ATS in their last 19 games against a team with a losing record and 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall. The Raptors are 7-1 ATS in their last eight home games, 4-0 ATS in their last four games following a win and 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall.

Head to head, the Wizards are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings overall.

The Wizards are shorthanded again as Bradley Beal and Kyle Kuzma are still out, while the Raptors are keeping eyes on Scottie Barnes, Precious Achiuwa and Gary Trent Jr. The Wizards were able to get the much-needed win over the lowly Spurs on Friday, but it has been the Raptors who are now 7-1 ATS in their last eight home games after blowing past the Pistons on Friday. The Raptors have been the more reliable team lately and I think they should be too good for the Wizards here.
