The Milwaukee Bucks travel to the Capital One Arena to battle the Washington Wizards on Sunday night.

The Milwaukee Bucks have been in terrific form as they had won 16 games in a row before they got stopped in their tracks by the 76ers in a 133-130 home loss last night. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the team with 34 points, 13 rebounds and four assists, Brook Lopez and Jrue Holiday each scored 26 points while Grayson Allen chipped in with 20 points. As a team, the Bucks shot 53 percent from the field and 17 of 34 from the 3-point line as they seemed to be in control when they poured in 40 points in the third quarter to build an 18-point lead, but they couldn’t put the 76ers away and it cost them as they leaked 48 points in the fourth quarter to end up just short in the end.

Meanwhile, the Washington Wizards have been in pretty good shape as they’ve won six of their last 10 games overall, but they will be hoping to bounce back here after getting beaten by the Raptors in a 116-109 overtime loss last night. Kristaps Porzingis led the team with 22 points, 11 rebounds and four assists, Bradley Beal added 21 points with 10 assists while Delon Wright chipped in wit 18 points, seven assists and six steals. As a team, the Wizards shot 50 percent from the field and 14 of 24 from the 3-point line as they rallied back from a 13-point deficit to force overtime where they managed just four points to allow the Raptors off the hook.

Looking at the betting trends, the Bucks are 7-0 ATS in their last seven road games, 4-0 ATS in their last four games against a team with a losing record and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games overall. The Wizards are 42-18-2 ATS in their last 62 games playing on zero days rest and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games against a team above .600.

Head to head, the under is 4-1 in the last five meetings overall and the over is 5-1 in the last six meetings in Washington.

The Bucks are still missing Wesley Matthews, while the Wizards are missing Deni Avdija and they are keeping an eye on Kyle Kuzma who is questionable. The Bucks come in as the team in better form as they reeled off 16 straight wins before coming up just short in a painful loss last night, so I’m sure they will come out swinging in this one. The Wizards have been in decent shape, but they are playing on zero days rest, fresh off an overtime loss to the Raptors, so I’ll stick with the more reliable Bucks to start a new winning streak here.
