The Houston Rockets invade the State Farm Arena to do battle with the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday night. Here’s a Rockets vs Hawks Prediction.
Houston Rockets
The Houston Rockets have been in a rut as they’ve lost four of their last five games overall and they will be hoping to snap a three-game skid after falling just short to the Raptors in a 107-104 loss last night. Dillon Brooks led the team with 20 points, Cam Whitmore added 17 points on five of nine shooting while Jabari Smith Jr chipped in with 12 points and 11 rebounds. As a team, the Rockets shot 44 percent from the field and 15 of 38 from the 3-point line as they got off to a terrible start, scoring just 20 points in the first quarter to fall behind by as many as 22 points, before they rallied in the fourth quarter to cut the deficit to just one points with 23.1 seconds remaining.
Atlanta Hawks
Meanwhile, the Atlanta Hawks have been in decent shape as they’ve won five of their last seven games overall and they will be eager to build some momentum after outlasting the new-look 76ers in a 127-121 road win last night. Trae Young led the team with 37 points and 12 assists, Onyeka Okongwu added 21 points while Saddiq Bey chipped in with 18 points and 11 rebounds. As a team, the Hawks shot 51 percent from the field and 16 of 36 from the 3-point line as they stormed out of the gates with 37 points in the first quarter to lead by as many as 22 points, but it wasn’t all smooth sailing as the 76ers rallied to get to within four points late in the contest.

Rockets vs Hawks Prediction
The Raptors are still shorthanded with Fred VanVleet and Tari Eason still out, while the Hawks are still missing Dejounte Murray and Patty Mills. The Raptors could really do with a win to snap them out of their funk and they might still be kicking themselves after coming up short tot eh Raptors in a tough loss last night. In contrast, the Hawks have been playing some of their best basketball of the season recently and they just beat the shorthanded 76ers for their fifth win in their last seven games. I wouldn’t be shocked if the Rockets pulled off the upset on the road, but the Hawks have been the team in better form and I think they can take care of business at home.
