Atlanta Hawks vs Los Angeles Clippers Prediction 2-5-24 Picks

The Los Angeles Clippers and the Atlanta Hawks duke it out at the State Farm Arena on Monday night. Here’s a Clippers vs Hawks Prediction.

Los Angeles Clippers

The Los Angeles Clippers have been in fine form as they’ve won 11 of their last 13 games overall and they will be aiming for a fourth straight win after beating the Heat in a 103-95 road win last night. Kawhi Leonard led the team with 25 points, 11 rebounds and four assists, James Harden added 21 points with eight rebounds and 11 assists while Norman Powell chipped in with 16 points off the bench. As a team, the Clippers shot just 44 percent from the field and 16 of 39 from the 3-point line as they went back and forth with the Heat in a close contest, until they went on a 22-8 run in the fourth quarter to pull away and keep their win streak alive. Paul George had a rough game as he shot just three of 13 from the field while Russell Westbrook finished with just five points on two of nine shooting. The Clippers will play against the Pelicans after this game.

Atlanta Hawks

Meanwhile, the Atlanta Hawks have been in great shape as they’ve won seven of their last 11 games overall and they will be eager to build on their current four-game win streak after outlasting the Warriors in a 141-134 overtime win on Saturday. Trae Young led the team with 35 points and six assists, Onyeka Okongwu added 22 points with 16 rebounds off the bench, Jalen Johnson scored 21 points with 13 rebounds and eight assists while Dejounte Murray chipped in with 19 points and seven assists. As a team, the Hawks shot 48 percent from the field and 14 of 43 from the 3-point line as they sent the game into overtime thanks to a clutch shot from Murray with just 4.1 seconds left in the fourth quarter, before they kicked off the overtime period with a decisive 11-0 run to escape with the gritty home win.

Clippers vs Hawks Prediction

The Hawks are keeping eyes on Saddiq Bey and De’Andre Hunter who are both questionable, while the Clippers are back to full health with Ivica Zubac now off the injury report. The Hawks have really started to turn their season around and they would’ve taken plenty of confidence from their thrilling overtime win over the Warriors on Saturday, but the Clippers have been on a tear for a while now and they just took down the Heat despite off games from George and Westbrook. Yes, the Clippers are playing this one on zero days’ rest, but I’m still backing them to take down this inconsistent Hawks team.
