Brooklyn Nets vs Miami Heat prediction 1-15-24 Picks

The Miami Heat invade the Barclays Center to do battle with the Brooklyn Nets on Monday night. Here’s a Nets vs Heat Prediction.

Miami Heat

The Miami Heat have been in fine form as they’ve won eight of their last 12 games overall and they will be eager to keep it going after blowing past the lowly Hornets in a 104-87 win last night. Bam Adebayo led the team with 24 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists, Tyler Herro added 21 points with seven rebounds and four assists while Duncan Robinson chipped in with 19 points and five assists off the bench. As a team, the Heat shot 49 percent from the field and 11 of 25 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with their defense and never threatened after dominating the first half by 52-31.

Brooklyn Nets

Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Nets have been in a major slump as they’ve lost seven of their last eight games overall and they will be hoping to snap a two-game skid after getting beaten by the Cavaliers in a 111-102 loss on Thursday. Mikal Bridges led the team in scoring with 26 points on six of 18 shooting, Cam Thomas added 26 points off the bench while Lonnie Walker chipped in with 20 points. As a team, the Nets shot 45 percent from the field and eight of 27 from the 3-point line, but they got next to nothing from their starters and were always fighting an uphill battle after falling behind by 54-34 going into halftime.

Nets vs Heat Prediction

The Heat are still shorthanded with Jimmy Butler, Kevin love and Jaime Jacquez Jr all out, while the Nets are still without Day’Ron Sharpe. The Heat have continued to win games despite the growing injury list and they’re going to be tested once again with Jacquez Jr and Kevin Love joining the list. This would be a great spot for the Nets to take advantage, but they’ve been stuck in their worst slump of the season. This is a game I’d rather stay away from, but if I had to choose, I’d stick with the Heat to grind out another win despite missing so many key players.
