Bradley Beal led the team with 31 points and six assists on 10 of 14 shooting, Kevin Durant added 20 points while Jusuf Nurkic tallied 14 points with a career-high 31 rebounds. As a team, the Suns shot 44 percent from the field and 14 of 39 from the 3-point line, but they played little defense to start the game and were always fighting an uphill battle after allowing 38 points in the second quarter to trail by as many as 24 points. The Suns will take on the Raptors after this one.

Meanwhile, the Denver Nuggets have really been heating up as they will be looking to build on their current six-game win streak after beating the Lakers in a 124-114 road win on Saturday. Nikola Jokic led the team with 35 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists, Michael Porter Jr added 25 points with 10 rebounds and four assists on 10 of 10 shooting while Jamal Murray tallied 24 points with 11 assists. As a team, the Nuggets shot a sizzling 58 percent from the field and 11 of 26 from the 3-point line as they struggled to slow down the Lakers early on and trailed by 10 points in the second quarter, before they caught fire and poured in 66 points in the second half to make it look easy in the end. The Nuggets will play against the Celtics after this game.

The Suns have really struggled lately and they could be missing Nurkic in this one, which spells trouble as they now take on Jokic and the Nuggets who have been on fire lately. The Nuggets beat the Suns by 119-111 back on Dec 1 and I can’t see anything but another win for the Nuggets who are a dominant 24-5 at home this season. The line is a little hefty, but I like the Nuggets to stay hot with another win and cover.
