Golden State Warriors vs Atlanta Hawks prediction 1-24-24 Picks

The Atlanta Hawks and the Golden State Warriors duke it out at the Chase Center on Wednesday night. Here’s a Hawks vs Warriors Prediction.

Atlanta Hawks

The Atlanta Hawks have been in a rut as they’ve lost six of their last 10 games overall, but they will be hoping to avoid a third straight defeat after getting routed by the Kings in a 122-107 road loss on Monday. Dejounte Murray led the team with 35 points, 10 rebounds and six assists, Bogdan Bogdanovic added 18 points while Saddiq Bey chipped in with 13 points. As a team, the Hawks shot just 38 percent from the field and 14 of 40 from the 3-point line as they struggled to find their offense and were always fighting an uphill battle after scoring just 16 points in the second quarter. The Hawks will play against the Mavericks after this game.

Golden State Warriors

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors have been in a major slump as they’ve lost eight of their last 11 games overall and they will be hoping to put a halt to a four-game slide, but they had their last two games postponed in the wake of assistant coach Dejan Milojevic’s death. The Warriors’ last game was against the Grizzlies who they lost to by 116-107 last Monday. Stephen Curry led the team with 26 points and eight assists, Jonathan Kuminga added 20 points and 11 rebounds off the bench while Andrew Wiggins chipped in with 16 points. As a team, the Warriors shot 48 percent from the field and 10 of 31 from the 3-point line as they went back and forth with the Grizzlies in a really tight contest, until the Grizzlies took the game away with a 16-5 run in the fourth quarter.

Hawks vs Warriors Prediction

The Hawks are still shorthanded with De’Andre Hunter, Wesley Matthews and Trae Young all out, while the Warriors are still without Chris Paul and Moses Moody. The Hawks haven’t been able to get anything going recently, they’re missing a bunch of players and they didn’t look good in their loss to the Kings on Monday. The Warriors are playing with heavy hearts in this one and they need a win, so I’m backing them to get back on track with a much-needed home win here.
