Golden State Warriors vs Boston Celtics Prediction 12-19-23 NBA Picks

The Golden State Warriors play host to the Boston Celtics at the Chase Center on Tuesday night. Here’s a Warriors vs Celtics prediction.

Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics have been in great shape as they’ve won eight of their last nine games and they will be aiming for a sixth straight win after blowing past the Magic in a 114-97 win on Sunday. Jaylen Brown led the team with 31 points and six assists on 12 of 20 shooting, Jayson Tatum added 23 points while Kristaps Porzingis chipped in with 15 points and 10 rebounds. As a team, the Celtics shot 47 percent from the field and 17 of 36 from the 3-point line, but this win was set up by their effort on defense as they were always in control after holding the Magic to just 19 points in the second quarter.

Golden State Warriors

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors are starting to build some momentum now as they will be aiming for a third straight victory after sneaking past the Trail Blazers in a 118-114 road win on Sunday. Klay Thompson led the team with 28 points on 11 of 16 shooting, Andrew Wiggins added 25 points on nine of 12 shooting off the bench while Trayce Jackson-Davis chipped in with 14 points. As a team, the Warriors shot 52 percent from the field and 13 of 38 from the 3-point line as they exploded for 38 points in the second quarter to take a 22-point lead, but they allowed the Trail Blazers back in the contest and needed a pivotal 11-0 run in the fourth quarter to escape with the narrow win. Stephen Curry had a night to forget as he scored just seven points on two of 12 shooting from the field while missing all his 3-point attempts.

Warriors vs Celtics prediction

The Celtics could be a little shorthanded here with Kristaps Porzingis listed as questionable, but they come into this one as the team in better form, as they’ve barely missed a step in their last nine games. The Warriors are slowly starting to turn things around with two wins in a row, but they were somewhat lucky to get past the struggling Trail Blazers on Sunday and I just don’t think they’ll be so lucky this time. The Celtics are one of the hottest teams in the league and I think that will remain the case as the Celtics get the win and cover on the road against this stumbling Warriors outfit.
