The Los Angeles Clippers and the Golden State Warriors duke it out at the Chase Center on Wednesday night. Here’s a Clippers vs Warriors Prediction.

Los Angeles Clippers

The Los Angeles Clippers have been on a great run as they’ve won 10 of their last 13 games overall, but they will be looking to bounce back from a rare defeat in this one after getting run over by the Timberwolves in a 121-100 loss on Monday. Paul George and Kawhi Leonard led the team in scoring with 18 points each, James Harden added 17 points while Russell Westbrook chipped in with 11 points off the bench. As a team, the Clippers shot just 40 percent from the field and nine of 28 from the 3-point line as they struggled against the size of the Timberwolves right from the start, missing on a bunch of close shots that cost them in the third quarter where they got blown out by 40-19. The Clippers will take on the Thunder and Grizzlies after this one.

Golden State Warriors

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors are starting to heat up now as they’ve won six of their last seven games overall and they will be aiming for a fifth straight victory after blowing past the Jazz in a 129-107 road win on Monday. Klay Thompson led the team in scoring with 26 points on 11 of 19 shooting, Stephen Curry drained seven 3-pointers to finish with 25 points and 10 assists, Andrew Wiggins chipped in with 17 points while Draymond Green tallied 12 points with 10 rebounds and eight assists. As a team, the Warriors shot 48 percent from the field and 20 of 44 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 34 points in the first quarter to jump out in front, before they caught fire in the fourth quarter to make it a complete blowout in the end.

Golden State Warriors Team Facts

  • The home team has won each of the last nine games between the Clippers and Warriors.
  • The Warriors have covered the spread in each of their last seven games on the first leg of a back-to-back.
  • Seven of the Warriors’ last eight games have gone UNDER the total points line.

Los Angeles Clippers Team Facts

  • The Clippers have lost each of their last 12 games as road underdogs against Western Conference opponents following a loss.
  • The Clippers have covered the spread in each of their last six night games against Pacific Division opponents that held a winning record.
  • Each of the Clippers’ last four games at Chase Center following a home loss have gone UNDER the total points line.

Clippers vs Warriors Prediction

The Clippers are coming into this one with a full squad, while the Warriors are still missing Chris Paul who is dealing with that hand injury. The Clippers were arguably one of the hottest teams in the league before they got routed by the Timberwolves in a tough loss on Monday, while the Warriors are playing some of their best basketball of the season to reel off six wins in their last seven games overall. These teams have already met three times this season with the Clippers leading the series by 2-1, but each game has been decided by eight points or less, so we could be in for another good one here. It’s hard to split these two teams at the moment, but the Clippers have been the more consistent team all season and I think they can bounce back with a win on the road.
