The Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors meet Friday in NBA preseason action at the Chase Center. The Los Angeles Lakers look for a win after dropping their first two preseason games. The Golden State Warriors look for another win to improve to 3-0 in preseason play.

The Golden State Warriors have won five of their last six preseason games. The Lakers are 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 road games and 6-14-1 ATS in their last 21 games overall. The Warriors are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 home games and 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games overall.
Since the 2018-19 NBA season, the Lakers are 5-1 against the Warriors in preseason play. It’s always felt like the Lakers wanted to make early statements against the Warriors, but of course that’s when Golden State was considered the team to beat in the NBA. These Lakers have not only lost their first two preseason games, but LeBron and others aren’t playing. The Warriors look sharp offensively and have played a chuck of their rotation in both games. I have to side with the Warriors at home.
