The New Orleans Pelicans and the Golden State Warriors duke it out at the Chase Center on Tuesday night.

The New Orleans Pelicans have been in fine form as they’ve won six of their last eight games overall and they will be gunning for a sixth straight victory after routing the Trail Blazers in a 124-90 road win last night. Brandon Ingram led the team with 29 points, six rebounds and four assists on 12 of 19 shooting, CJ McCollum added 17 points with eight assists while Trey Murphy chipped in with 16 points. As a team, the Pelicans shot 57 percent from the field and 12 of 28 from the 3-point line as they dominated the first quarter by 34-14 to take the early lead which allowed them to cruise the rest of the way to another big win.

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors were on a three-game win streak before they ran into the Timberwolves in a 99-96 loss on Sunday. Jordan Poole led the team with 27 points on eight of 16 shooting off the bench, Stephen Curry added 20 points with nine assists while Klay Thompson chipped in with 15 points. As a team, the Warriors shot 41 percent from the field and 15 of 40 from the 3-point line as they kept pace with the Timberwolves in a close contest, until the Timberwolves closed the final 27.1 seconds on a 5-0 run to steal the game in the end.

Looking at the betting trends, the Pelicans are 8-18 ATS in their last 26 road games, 6-15 ATS in their last 21 games against a team with a winning record and 5-0 ATS in their last five games overall. The Warriors are 37-15-1 ATS in their last 53 home games, 1-4 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall.

Head to head, the under is 10-2 in the last 12 meetings overall, the Pelicans are 1-5-1 ATS in the last seven meetings in Golden State and the Pelicans are 2-5 ATS in the last seven meetings overall.

The Pelicans are shorthanded once again as Zion Williamson and Jose Alvarado are both out, while the Warriors are still missing Andrew Wiggins and Ty Jerome. The Pelicans are coming into this meeting with plenty of momentum and I don’t think they will be too fatigued after last night’s blowout win over the Trail Blazers. The Warriors are still the favorites at home where they are so tough to beat, but with the line so hefty, I’m more happy comfortable taking the Pelicans to hang around and keep this close.
