Golden State Warriors vs New York Knicks Prediction 3-18-24 Picks

The New York Knicks and Golden State Warriors meet Monday in NBA action at the Chase Center. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this game. Here’s a New York Knicks vs Golden State Warriors prediction.

New York Knicks

The New York Knicks have been in great shape as they’ve won four of their last five games overall and they will be gunning for a fourth straight win after outlasting the Kings in a 98-91 road win on Saturday. Jalen Brunson led the team with 42 points on 17 of 28 shooting, Donte DiVincenzo added 15 points on five of 16 shooting while Alec Burks chipped in with 12 points off the bench. As a team, the Knicks shot just 43 percent from the field and 11 of 39 from the 3-point line as they took control of the contest with 32 points in the second quarter, but they couldn’t really shake off the Kings until the fourth quarter where they restricted the Kings to just 17 points to keep their win streak alive.

Golden State Warriors

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors have cooled off a bit recently as they’ve lost four of their last seven games overall, but they are looking to build some momentum after taking down the in-form Lakers in a 128-121 road win on Saturday. Stephen Curry led the team with 31 points, six rebounds and five assists on 12 of 24 shooting, Klay Thompson added 26 points on nine of 15 shooting off the bench while Jonathan Kuminga chipped in with 23 points and four assists. As a team, the Warriors shot 52 percent from the field and 14 of 34 from the 3-point line as they exploded for 37 points in the second qurater to take the narrow lead into halftime, before they poured in another 35 points in the third quarter to build a 12-point lead, more than enough to hold off a late charge from the Lakers.

New York Knicks Team Facts

New York Knicks vs Golden State Warriors prediction.

The Knicks are still a little shorthanded with Mitchell Robinson and Julius Randle still out, while the Warriors are coming into this one with a full squad once again. The Knicks are coming into this meeting in pretty good form and they would’ve taken plenty of confidence from their gritty win over the Kings on Saturday thanks to a big game from Brunson. The Warriors were really struggling for form when Curry was out injured, but they looked good in their win over the Lakers and they don’t have a single player listed on the injury report. It’s tempting to go with the Knicks as the road underdog, but I think we’re about to see the Warriors go on a bit of a win streak now that they’re healthy again.
