Golden State Warriors vs Philadelphia 76ers Prediction 1-30-24 Picks

The Philadelphia 76ers and the Golden State Warriors collide at the Chase Center on Tuesday night. Here’s a 76ers vs Warriors Prediction.

Philadelphia 76ers

The Philadelphia 76ers have cooled off a bit recently as they have now lost three in a row after getting routed by the Trail Blazers in a 130-104 road loss last night. Kelly Oubre Jr led the team with 25 points on 11 of 20 shooting, Patrick Beverley added 14 points with five assists while Paul Reed chipped in with 11 points. As a team, the 76ers shot 44 percent from the field and just five of 29 from the 3-point line, but they weren’t focused on the defensive end leaked 38 points in the second quarter to fall behind at halftime, before they allowed72 points in the second half to lose big in the end. The 76ers will play against the Jazz after this one.

Golden State Warriors

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors have been on a rut as they’ve lost four of their last five games overall and they will be hoping for a better result here after falling painfully short to the Lakers in a heartbreaking 145-144 double overtime loss on Saturday. Stephen Curry led the team with 46 points and seven assists on 17 of 35 shooting, Klay Thompson added 24 points while Jonathan Kuminga and Andrew Wiggins scored 22 points each. As a team, the Warriors shot 46 percent from the field and a sizzling 23 of 58 from the 3-point line as they traded with the Lakers in a high scoring affair filled with highlight plays, until the final seconds where the Warriors’ Curry turned it over on the final play of the game.

76ers vs Warriors Prediction

The 76ers are still shorthanded here with Tyrese Maxey, Joel Embiid and De’Anthony Melton all ruled out, while the Warriors are still missing Gary Payton and Chris Paul. The 76ers have been hit hard by injuries lately and they haven’t been able to get enough support from their role players which was the case in last night’s big loss to the Trail Blazers. The Warriors have been well below their best lately and they might still be thinking about their double overtime loss to the Lakers on Saturday, but they’ve shown signs of life recently, so I like them as the slight favorite at home. This should be a close one, but with the 76ers still shorthanded, I’m backing the Warriors to take advantage.
