Hawks vs Cavaliers Prediction

With both teams at the end of a back-to-back, I have to lean toward the Hawks at home. Unlike the Cavs, the Hawks don’t have to travel for this game. Also, as I mentioned yesterday, the Cavaliers don’t cover numbers, and that includes being 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games. The Cavs are 1-3 ATS on the season, while the Hawks at least have two covers this season.

The home team has also won six straight games between the Hawks and Cavs and eight of the last 10 games overall. The winner of the last 10 games has also covered the spread. The Hawks are also the younger team that relies on its defense, which is key on potentially tired legs. The Cavaliers haven’t covered back-to-back spreads since May of last year. The Cavs simply don’t put money in our pocket and aren’t a team you should be excited to back.

We’re not being asked to lay anything crazy. I’ll side with the Cavs and the cheap price on Thursday night.
