LA Clippers vs Utah Jazz Prediction 4-5-24 Picks

The Utah Jazz and LA Clippers meet Friday in NBA action at the crypto.com Arena. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this game. Here’s a Jazz vs Clippers prediction.

Utah Jazz

The Utah Jazz have been in horrible shape as they’ve lost 13 of their last 14 games overall and they will be hoping to put an end to a 10-game slide after getting routed by the Cavaliers in a 129-113 loss on Tuesday. Brice Sensabaugh led the team in scoring with 22 points, seven rebounds and four assists, Collin Sexton added 19 points with seven assists while Taylor Hendricks chipped in with 18 points on seven of 13 shooting. As a team, the Jazz shot 48 percent from the field and 16 of 37 from the 3-point line as they got off to a terrible start, allowing 40 points in the first quarter and things only got ugly in the second quarter where they fell behind by as many as 24 points. Keyonte George had a rough game as he shot just two of 11 from the field and one of five from the 3-point line to finish with just nine points and four turnovers. The Jazz will face the Warriors after this game.

Los Angeles Clippers

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Clippers have been a team on the rise as they’ve won four of their last five games overall and they will be eager to keep it going after outlasting the Nuggets in a 102-100 home win over the Nuggets last night. Paul George led the team with 28 points, James Harden added 20 points with eight assists while Ivica Zubac chipped in with 14 points and 15 rebounds. As a team, the Clippers shot just 37 percent from the field and seven of 33 from the 3-point line as they fought their way back from an early 17-point deficit before they played great defense to hold the Nuggets scoreless for the last 55 seconds to escape with the gritty win at home. The Clippers will meet the Cavaliers and Suns after this one.

Jazz vs Clippers prediction

The Jazz are still missing Lauri Markkannen, John Collins and Jordan Clarkson, while the Clippers are without Kawhi Leonard, Jordan Miller and Moussa Diabate. The Jazz have arguably been the coldest team in the league for a while now, they are missing their three best players and just can’t buy a win at all these days. The Clippers are starting to heat up again, and they would’ve taken plenty of confidence from their gritty win over the red-hot Nuggets last night. I’m backing the Clippers to maintain their momentum with another win and cover at home.
