Los Angeles Clippers vs Minnesota Timberwolves Prediction 3-12-24 Picks

The Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles Clippers meet Tuesday in NBA action at the crypto.com Arena. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this game. Here’s a Minnesota Timberwolves vs Los Angeles Clippers prediction.

Minnesota Timberwolves

The Minnesota Timberwolves have cooled off a bit recently as they’ve lost four of their last six games overall and they will be hoping to avoid a third straight defeat after getting routed by the Lakers in a 120-109 road defeat on Sunday. Naz Reid led the team with 25 points and four blocks, Anthony Edwards added 25 points with seven rebounds and seven assists while Nickeil Alexander-Walker chipped in with 15 points, seven rebounds and five assists. As a team, the Timberwolves shot just 42 percent from the field and 16 of 46 from the 3-point line as they wrestled with the Lakers in a close contest, until they went cold in the fourth quarter where they managed just 17 points to allow the Lakers to slip away. The Timberwolves will meet the Jazz in a back-to-back set after this one.

Los Angeles Clippers

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Clippers have been in decent shape as they’ve won four of their last six games overall, but they will be hoping to bounce back in this spot after having their two-game win streak snapped by the Bucks in a 124-117 loss on Sunday. Norman Powell led the team with 26 points off the bench, Ivica Zubac added 18 points, Amir Coffey tallied 16 points with 10 rebounds and four assists while James Harden chipped in with 13 points and 11 assists. As a team, the Clippers shot 45 percent from the field and 14 of 47 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 33 points in the first quarter to take the lead into halftime, but they couldn’t hold off the Bucks who poured in 65 points in the second half to snap the Clippers’ winning streak.

Minnesota Timberwolves vs Los Angeles Clippers prediction

The Timberwolves are again without Karl-Anthony Towns and they have Anthony Edwards, Rudy Gobert and Kyle Anderson all listed as questionable, while the Clippers are keeping eyes on Kawhi Leonard and Paul George who are both questionable. This is definitely one of those games where you want to check the lineups before tipoff, but if I had to choose a side now, I’m more comfortable going with the deeper Clippers who have been playing the better basketball in recent games.
