Los Angeles Clippers vs Phoenix Suns Prediction 1-8-24 NBA Picks

The Phoenix Suns and the Los Angeles Clippers collide at the Crypto.com Arena on Monday night. Here’s a Suns vs Clippers Prediction.

Phoenix Suns

The Phoenix Suns have been in great shape as they’ve won five of their last seven games overall, but they will be hoping to bounce back in this one after coming up short to the Grizzlies in a 121-115 loss last night. Devin Booker led the team with 24 points and eight assists on nine of 17 shooting, Kevin Durant added 23 points with 10 rebounds and five assists while Jusuf Nurkic chipped in with 18 points, 19 rebounds and five assists. As a team, the Suns shot 45 percent from the field and eight of 28 from the 3-point line as they outpaced the Grizzlies for most of the game to build a 13-point lead in the third quarter, only to let it all go to waste in the fourth quarter where they were outscored by 35-18.

Los Angeles Clippers

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Clippers have been in fine form as they were riding a five-game win streak before they got stopped in their tracks by the Lakers in a 106-103 loss last night. Paul George led the team with 22 points and five steals, Ivica Zubac added 22 points with 19 rebounds while Kawhi Leonard and James Harden scored 15 points apiece. As a team, the Clippers shot just 39 percent from the field and 14 of 37 from the 3-point line as they went on a fourth quarter rally to overcome a 10-point deficit, only to come up painfully short as the Clippers’ Norman Powell just missed on the team’s final shot which would have sent the game into overtime.

Suns vs Clippers Prediction

The Suns are still missing Eric Gordon and Nassir Little, while the Clippers currently have no key players listed on the injury report, but given that this is their second game of a back to back set, I wouldn’t be surprised if Leonard or George sat this one out. Be sure to check the lineups before tipoff, but the Clippers have clearly been the more consistent and reliable team and I think they can bounce back from last night’s defeat with a solid win and cover here.
