Los Angeles Lakers vs Milwaukee Bucks Prediction 10-15-23 NBA Picks

The Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Lakers meet Sunday in NBA preseason action at the crypto.com Arena. Let’s preview this game and give out a pick and prediction.

Milwaukee Bucks Betting Preview

The Bucks look to get above a .500 record in preseason play after splitting their last two games. The Bucks have lost 8 of their last 9 preseason games. The Milwaukee Bucks are averaging 103.5 points on 42.1 percent shooting and allowing 105 points on 40.6 percent shooting. MarJon Beauchamp is averaging 13 points and 8.5 rebounds, while Jae Crowder is averaging 12 points and 3.5 rebounds. Malik Beasley is the third double-digit scorer and Pat Connaughton is grabbing 6 rebounds. The Milwaukee Bucks are shooting 6.7 percent from beyond the arc and 80.5 percent from the free throw line. The Milwaukee Bucks are allowing 32.5 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 51 rebounds per game.

Los Angeles Lakers Betting Preview

The Los Angeles Lakers also look to get above a .500 record after splitting their first 4 preseason games. The Lakers have lost 13 of their last 16 preseason games. The Los Angeles Lakers are averaging 117.8 points on 47.1 percent shooting and allowing 120.3 points on 46.9 percent shooting. Austin Reaves is averaging 17 points and 2.5 rebounds, while D’Angelo Russell is averaging 15.5 points and 2.3 rebounds. Anthony Davis is the third double-digit scorer and Rui Hachimura is grabbing 5.3 rebounds. The Los Angeles Lakers are shooting 38.4 percent from beyond the arc and 67.3 percent from the free throw line. The Los Angeles Lakers are allowing 36.2 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 45.5 rebounds per game.

Randy’s Pick

Neither the Bucks nor Lakers have had preseason success in recent years, and it’s always tricky because you never know which team is going to play key players. The difference in this game for me is that the Lakers are at home, and they’ve been one of the better offensive teams through 4 games, shooting 47.1 percent from the field. While the Bucks defense has been solid, I do question if they have enough offensive firepower in this spot. I’ll lay the bucket with the Lakers at home.
