Memphis Grizzlies vs Atlanta Hawks Prediction 3-8-24 Picks

The Atlanta Hawks and the Memphis Grizzlies duke it out at the FedExForum on Friday night. Here’s a Hawks vs Grizzlies Prediction.

Atlanta Hawks

The Atlanta Hawks have been in decent shape as they’ve won four of their last six games overall and they will be gunning for a third straight win after taking down the Cavaliers in a 112-101 win on Wednesday. Saddiq Bey and Bogdan Bogdanovic each scored 23 points, Dejounte Murray added 18 points while De’Andre Hunter chipped in with 17 points off the bench. As a team, the Hawks shot 51 percent from the field and 11 of 30 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in trouble when they squandered an early 21-point lead, before they clicked into gear and restricted the Cavaliers to just 12 points in the fourth quarter to pull away once again.

Memphis Grizzlies

Meanwhile, the Memphis Grizzlies are starting to turn things around as they are now aiming for a third straight win after sneaking past the 76ers in a 115-109 road win on Wednesday. Jaren Jackson Jr led the team with 30 points, 11 rebounds and six blocks, Jake LaRavia scored 19 points with 13 rebounds and three blocks while Vince Williams Jr chipped in with 17 points, seven rebounds and nine assists. As a team, the Grizzlies shot 45 percent from the field and 13 of 37 from the 3-point line as they struggled for most of the contest and trailed by 15 points in the third quarter, before they flipped the script and dominated the fourth quarter by 34-16 to come away with the unlikely road win.

Hawks vs Grizzlies Prediction

The Hawks are still shorthanded with Jalen Johnson, Trae Youg and Onyeka Okongwu all ruled out, while the Grizzlies are still severely depleted with Yuta Watanabe, Ziaire Williams, Ja Morant and Derrick Rose all out among many others. The Hawks are starting to heat up despite the growing injury list and they would’ve taken so much confidence from their surprising upset win over the Cavaliers in their last outing. The Grizzlies have done well to win their last two games considering how many players are out injured and they’ve already beaten the Hawks by 125-119 back on Dec 23. You can make an argument for either side here, but the Hawks are coming off one of their best wins of the season and I think they can keep it going at least for one more game.
