Memphis Grizzlies vs Brooklyn Nets Prediction 2-26-24 Picks

The Memphis Grizzlies play host to the Brooklyn Nets at the FedExForum on Monday night. Here’s a Grizzlies vs Nets Prediction.

Brooklyn Nets

The Brooklyn Nets have been in a slump as they’ve lost seven of their last eight games overall and they will be hoping to arrest a four-game slide after getting routed by the Timberwolves in a 101-86 road loss on Saturday. Cam Thomas led the team with 18 points, Mikal Bridges added 15 points with eight assists while Nicolas Claxton chipped in with 12 points. As a team, the Nets shot just 33 percent from the field and six of 35 from the 3-point line as they played great defense early on to restrict the Timberwolves to just 42 points in the first half, but they couldn’t maintain that intensity and got outscored by 59-41 in the second half as they just had no answer for the Timberwolves’ duo of Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards who combined for 57 points.

 Memphis Grizzlies

Meanwhile, the Memphis Grizzlies were starting to turn things around with a couple of wins on the trot, but they will be looking to bounce back here after falling just short to the Clippers in a 101-95 loss on Friday. Jaren Jackson Jr led the team with 29 points and five assists, GG Jackson added 11 points off the bench while Ziaire Williams chipped in with 10 points. As a team, the Grizzlies shot just 41 percent from the field and eight of 35 from the 3-point line as they came out strong and took the lead into halftime thanks to a hot start from Jackson Jr, but that all changed in the second half where they managed just 36 points to suffer yet another disappointing loss at home.

 Grizzlies vs Nets Prediction

The Nets could be a little short handed once again with Ben Simmons listed as questionable due to left leg soreness, while the Grizzlies are still without Brandon Clarke, Ja Morant and Marcus Smart to name a few. The Nets have been one of the most disappointing teams all season and they are coming into this one fresh off a fourth straight loss, while the Grizzlies are just trying to do their best to keep their heads above water despite a growing injury list. You really couldn’t back either side with much confidence these days, but I’m slightly more interested in the Grizzlies who have looked like a different team over their past three games.
