Memphis Grizzlies vs Denver Nuggets Prediction 4-14-24 Picks

The Denver Nuggets and Memphis Grizzlies meet Sunday in NBA action at the FedExForum. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this game. Here’s a Nuggets vs Grizzlies prediction.

Denver Nuggets

The Denver Nuggets have been in decent shape as they’ve won five of their last seven games overall, but they will be hoping to bounce back in this one after falling painfully short to the Spurs in a 121-120 road defeat on Friday. Jamal Murray led the team with 35 points on 14 of 26 shooting, Nikola Jokic added 22 points with seven rebounds and 12 assists while Michael Porter Jr chipped in with 14 points. As a team, the Nuggets shot 50 percent from the field and 13 of 36 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in full control when they dominated the second quarter by 37-18 to lead by as many as 23 points, before they went cold and scored just 20 points in the fourth quarter to lose the lead with just 0.2 seconds left on the clock.

Memphis Grizzlies

Meanwhile, the Memphis Grizzlies have lost seven of their last 10 games overall and they will be hoping to avoid a fifth straight defeat after falling short to the Lakers in a 123-120 loss on Friday. GG Jackson drained seven 3-pointers to finish with 31 points on 12 of 23 shooting, Jake LaRavia and Scottie Pippen Jr each scored 28 points while Jordan Goodwin chipped in with 23 points, 17 rebounds and four steals. As a team, the Grizzlies shot 45 percent from the field and 17 of 39 from the 3-point line as they poured in 38 points in the second quarter to work their way back from an early 13-point deficit, but when the game was on the line, it was the Lakers who escaped thanks to clutch plays from LeBron James in the final possessions.

Nuggets vs Grizzlies prediction

The Nuggets could be shorthanded again with Michael Porter Jr, Zeke Nnaji, Aaron Gordon and Nikola Jokic all questionable, while the Grizzlies are still missing a bunch of players including Marcus Smart, Yuta Watanabe, Lamar Stevens and Luke Kennard. The Nuggets were on a great run before they got stopped in their tracks by the lowly Spurs in a heartbreaking loss on Friday. But I think the Nuggets can bounce back and cap off their regular season on a high against this severely shorthanded Grizzlies team. Sure, the Nuggets have an injury cloud hanging over their team, but I think the Nuggets still get the job done in this one.
