Milwaukee Bucks vs New Orleans Pelicans Prediction 1-27-24 Picks

The New Orleans Pelicans and the Milwaukee Bucks collide at the Fiserv Forum on Saturday night. Here’s a Pelicans vs Bucks Prediction.

New Orleans Pelicans

The New Orleans Pelicans have been in decent shape as they’ve won five of their last nine games overall, but they will be looking to bounce back here after getting routed by the Thunder in a 107-83 home loss last night. Herbert Jones and Jonas Valanciunas led the team in scoring with 14 points each while Brandon Ingram and CJ McCollum chipped in with 12 points each but no other player finished in double figures in scoring. As a team, the Pelicans shot just 39 percent from the field and nine of 36 from the 3-point line as they fell behind early, scoring just 17 points in the second quarter, before they got blown out in the fourth quarter where they managed just 19 points. CJ McCollum shot just four of 15 from the field, Trey Murphy scored just six points while Jose Alverado finished with just five points on two of seven shooting.

Milwaukee Bucks

Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks have been in great shape as they have won six of their last eight games overall, but they will be hoping for a better performance in this one after getting stopped in their tracks by the Cavaliers in a 112-100 home defeat last night. Giannis Antetokounmpo led hte team with 22 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists, Damian Lillard added 22 points while Khris Middleton chipped in with 14 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. As a team, the Bucks shot just 40 percent from the field and 13 of 34 from the 3-point line as they got off to a decent start to take the lead into halftime, only to go cold and fall victim to a pivotal 14-0 run in the third quarter to have them trailing the rest of the way.

Pelicans vs Bucks Prediction

The Pelicans will be so disappointed with last night’s loss to the Thunder as they never got out of second gear to finish with just 83 points for the game, while the Bucks were on a roll before last night’s tough loss to the surging Cavaliers. The Pelicans will surely come out with a better effort in this one, but I’m more confident taking the Bucks to bounce back at home where they are 20-4 on the season. This should be a close one, but in the end I have the Bucks bouncing back and winning by single digits.
