The San Antonio Spurs travel to the Fiserv Forum to battle the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night.

The San Antonio Spurs have been in a rut as they’ve lost six of their last nine games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back after getting thrashed by the Pelicans 119-84 road loss last night. Sandro Mamukelashvili led the team with 20 points on seven of 14 shooting, Tre Jones and Devonte Graham each scored 15 points while Keita Bates-Diop chipped in with 12 points. As a team, the Spurs shot just 34 percent from the field and 13 of 41 from the 3-point line as they got off to a slow start and scored just 16 points in the first quarter to fall behind by double-digits and things only got worse for them as the game wore on. Romeo Langford had a night to forget as he finished scoreless on zero of six shooting.

Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks have been in great form as they’ve won six of their last eight games overall and they will be eager to stay hot after outlasting the Raptors in a 118-111 home win on Sunday. Brook Lopez led the team with 26 points on nine of 15 shooting, Giannis Antetokounmpo racked up a triple-double of 22 points with 13 rebounds and 10 assists while Khris Middleton chipped in with 20 points, eight rebounds and five assists. As a team, the Bucks shot 52 percent from the field and 16 of 45 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in trouble when they leaked 39 points in the third quarter to fall behind by eight points, before they dominated the fourth quarter by 29-16 to make it look easy in the end.

Looking at the betting trends, the Spurs are 8-22 ATS in their last 30 road games, 0-4 ATS in their last four games playing on zero days rest and 7-18 ATS in their last 25 games overall. The Bucks are 0-4 ATS in their last four home games and 6-1 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a losing record.

Head to head, the over is 8-2 in the last 10 meetings overall, the Spurs are 8-1 ATS in the last nine meetings overall and the Spurs are 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings in Milwaukee.

The Spurs are likely shorthanded again as Jeremy Sochan, Keldon Johnson and Devin Vassell are all listed as day to day, while the Bucks have ruled out Meyers Leonard, Jae Crowder and Goran Dragic again. The end of the regular season can’t come quick enough for the Spurs who are just resting different players on different nights, while the Bucks have continue to run through teams on a nightly basis. I can’t imagine anything but an easy win for the Bucks in this spot, but with the line so hefty, I think the Spurs can hang around long enough to get a backdoor cover in the end.
