Minnesota Timberwolves vs Denver Nuggets Prediction 3-19-24 Picks

The Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves meet Tuesday in NBA action at the Target Center. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this game. Here’s a Denver Nuggets vs Minnesota Timberwolves prediction.

Denver Nuggets

The Denver Nuggets have been in red-hot form as they’ve won 11 of their last 13 games overall, but they will be hoping to bounce back in this spot after having their five-game win streak halted by the Mavericks in a 107-105 road loss on Sunday. Jamal Murray led the team with 23 points and seven assists, Michael Porter Jr added 20 points with seven rebounds and two blocks while Nikola Jokic tallied 16 points with 11 rebounds and seven assists. As a team, the Nuggets shot 44 percent from the field and 12 of 28 from the 3-point line as they showed plenty of grit to claw their way back from a late 13-point deficit, only to fall victim to a clutch shot from the Mavericks’ Kyrie Irving who drained the game-winner at the buzzer to snatch the game from the Nuggets in a wild finish.

Minnesota Timberwolves

Meanwhile, the Minnesota Timberwolves have been in great shape as they’ve won five of their last seven games overall and they will be aiming for a fourth straight victory after taking down the Jazz in a 114-104 road win last night. Anthony Edwards led the team with 32 points, seven rebounds and eight assists, Naz Reid added 17 points on seven of 12 shooting while Nickeil Alexander-Walker chipped in with 13 points and five assists off the bench. As a team, the Timberwolves shot 48 percent from the field and 16 of 41 from the 3-point line as they got off to a poor start and leaked 37 points in the first quarter to fall behind by 16 points in the blink of an eye, but they kept their composure and dominated the rest of the game to make it look easy in the end.

Denver Nuggets vs Minnesota Timberwolves prediction

The Nuggets are still a little shorthanded with Zeke Nnaji listed as questionable for this one, while the Timberwolves are still missing Rudy Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns. The Nuggets were on fire before they got stopped in their tracks by the Mavericks in a heartbreaking loss on Sunday, but now they’re up against a banged up Timberwolves team who are playing their second game of a back to back set. You can make an argument for either side here, but the Nuggets come into this one as the team in better form and I think they bounce back in fine fashion with a win and cover on the road in this one.
