The Golden State Warriors and the Minnesota Timberwolves collide at the Target Center on Wednesday night.

The Golden State Warriors have been in fine form as they’ve won six of their last nine games overall and they will be gunning for a fourth straight victory after sneaking past the Thunder in a 128-120 road win on Monday. Stephen Curry led the team with 38 points, eight rebounds and 12 assists, Klay Thompson added 28 points while Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole each scored 15 points. As a team, the Warriors shot 51 percent from the field and 20 of 47 from the 3-point line as they took control of the contest with a 38-20 first quarter, before they held off a rally from the Thunder who poured in 72 points in the second half to make it interesting at the end.

Meanwhile, the Minnesota Timberwolves have been in great shape as they’ve won five of their last seven games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back after falling short to the Kings in a 118-111 overtime loss on Monday. Anthony Edwards led the team with 33 points, eight rebounds and five assists, Rudy Gobert added 19 points with 14 rebounds on seven of nine shooting while Jaylen Nowell chipped in with 14 points off the bench. As a team, the Timberwolves shot 46 percent from the field and 12 of 39 from the 3-point line as they sent the game into overtime thanks to a clutch 3-pointer from McDaniels with 13 seconds remaining, only to go ice-cold in overtime to allow the Kings off the hook in the end.

Looking at the betting trends, the Warriors are 4-0 ATS in their last four road games and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games overall. The Timberwolves are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games, 7-1 ATS in their last eight games against a team with a winning record and 6-2 ATS in their last eight games overall.

Head to head, the over is 8-0 in the last eight meetings overall and the Warriors are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings in Minnesota.

The Warriors are coming into this meeting with the same squad with Andre Iguodala the only player listed on the injury report, while the Timberwolves have ruled out Jordan McLaughlin and they have listed Rudy Gobert as questionable due to right groin soreness. The Warriors have started to heat up again and they made it look easy against the Thunder at times in Monday’s win, while the Timberwolves were on a nice run before they got stopped by the Kings in a tough overtime loss on Monday. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Timberwolves were able to pull off the upset in this one, but they’re too banged up at the moment to stop me from taking the Warriors at this short line.
