Minnesota Timberwolves vs Golden State Warriors Prediction 3-24-24 Picks

The Warriors and Timberwolves meet Sunday in NBA action at the Target Center. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this game. Here’s a Warriors vs Timberwolves prediction.

Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors have been a little below their best lately as they’ve lost five of their last eight games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back in this one after getting routed by the Pacers in a 123-111 loss on Friday. Stephen Curry led the team with 25 points, 11 rebounds and five assists, Klay Thompson added 17 points off the bench while Brandin Podziemski chipped in with 13 points, 10 rebounds and two assists. As a team, the Warriors shot just 40 percent from the field and 14 of 38 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 38 points in the first quarter to jump out to an early 12-point lead, but they allowed the Pacers to stick around and it cost them in the third quarter where they got blown away by 36-21 to trail by as many as 17 points as their starters had an off night. Andrew Wiggins scored just eight points, while Jonathan Kuminga shot just four of 17 from the field and zero of three from the 3-point line.

Minnesota Timberwolves

Meanwhile, the Minnesota Timberwolves have been in fine form as they’ve won six of their last nine games overall and they will be eager to stay hot after blowing past the Cavaliers in a 104-91 home win on Friday. Mike Conley led the team with 21 points and six assists, Naz Reid added 18 points while Anthony Edwards tallied 16 points with 13 rebounds and five assists. As a team, the Timberwolves shot 48 percent from the field and 14 of 27 from the 3-point line as they struggled to find their footing and scored just 21 points in the second quarter to trail going into halftime, before they flipped the script and dominated the second half by 58-42 to make it look easy in the end.

Warriors vs Timberwolves

The Warriors don’t have a single player listed on the injury report, while the Timberwolves are keeping eyes on Rudy Gobert, Anthony Edwards and Jaylen Clark. The Warriors haven’t been at their best lately, but they are at full health and could really do with a win to get themselves back on track. The Timberwolves come into this meeting as the team in better form, but it’s going to be hard to hang with the Warriors if Edwards and Gobert sit this one out. This is definitely a game where you want to check the linueps before tipoff, but with an injury cloud hanging over the Timberwolves, I am looking at the Warriors to get a much-needed road win in this spot.
