Minnesota Timberwolves vs Houston Rockets Prediction 4-2-24 Picks

The Houston Rockets and Minnesota Timberwolves meet Tuesday in NBA action at the Target Center. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this game. Here’s a Rockets vs Timberwolves prediction.

Houston Rockets

The Houston Rockets have been in terrific form as they’ve won 13 of their last 15 games overall, but they will be eager to bounce back in this one after having their 11-game win streak halted by the Mavericks in a 125-107 loss on Sunday. Jabari Smith Jr led the team with 28 points, seven rebounds and three blocks, Aaron Holiday added 16 points off the bench while Jalen Green chipped in with 12 points, six rebounds and five assists. As a team, the Rockets shot 42 percent from the field and 13 of 38 from the 3-point line as they struggled to keep pace from the start and were never really in the contest after falling behind by 66-45 going into halftime. Dillon Brooks had a night to forget as he finished scoreless on zero of eight shooting from the field.

Minnesota Timberwolves

Meanwhile, the Minnesota Timberwolves have been in pretty good shape as they’ve won seven of their last nine games overall, but they will be hoping to bounce back here after having their four-game win streak halted by the Bulls in a 109-101 loss on Sunday. Anthony Edwards led the team with 22 points, 11 rebounds and five assists, Rudy Gobert and Mike Conley each scored 19 points while Naz Reid chipped in with 14 points. As a team, the Timberwolves shot 46 percent from the field and 11 of 37 from the 3-point line as they failed to match the Bulls from the start and quickly found themselves behind by 16 points and they just couldn’t reclaim the lead despite going on a run in the third quarter. The Timberwolves will meet the Raptors after this one.

Rockets vs Timberwolves prediction

The Rockets are still missing a couple of players with Tari Eason and Alperen Sengun both out, while the Timberwolves are still without Karl-Anthony Towns and Jaylen Clark. The Rockets didn’t play up to their usual standards on Sunday, and you could almost say the same thing about the Timberwolves, who had just won four straight. I can see why the Timberwolves are the favorites, but I think the Rockets deserve a bit more respect for their recent play.
