Keegan Murray led the team in scoring with 21 points on nine of 17 shooting, Chris Duarte added 18 points off the bench while Domantas Sabonis tallied 13 points with 10 rebounds and seven assists. As a team, the Kings shot just 40 percent from the field and 12 of 35 from the 3-point line as they poured in 35 points in the first quarter to take an early 15-point lead, only to get completely outplayed the rest of the way to trail by as many as 32 points at one stage. The Kings will take on the Bulls after this one.

Meanwhile, the Minnesota Timberwolves have been in great form as they’ve won seven of their last eight games overall and they will be aiming for a fourth straight win after taking down the Grizzlies in a 110-101 win on Wednesday. Anthony Edwards led the team with 34 points on 11 of 21 shooting, Naz Reid added 19 points off the bench while Karl-Anthony Towns chipped in with 13 points and 11 rebounds. As a team, the Timberwolves shot 49 percent from the field and 14 of 35 from the 3-point line, but they struggled to match the Grizzlies early on and couldn’t get any separation until the second half where they outscored the Grizzlies by 60-48 to escape with the narrow win at home.

The Kings could really do with a win to get their season back on track, but it’s going to be tough to hang with the Timberwolves if they don’t have Fox leading the way. The season series is split at 1-1, but the Timberwolves are one of the hottest teams in the league at the moment and I think they take care of business whether Edwards plays or not. This should be a close contest, but in the end I have the Timberwolves pulling away for the win and cover at home.
