Minnesota Timberwolves vs Sacramento Kings Prediction 11-24-23 NBA Picks

The Sacramento Kings and the Minnesota Timberwolves duke it out at the Target Center on Friday night. Here’s a Kings vs Timberwolves Prediction.

Sacramento Kings

The Sacramento Kings look to have cooled off from their six-game win streak as they are now looking to snap a two-game skid after getting beaten by the Pelicans in a 117-112 road defeat on Wednesday. De’Aaron Fox led the team with 26 points and five assists, Domantas Sabonis added 23 points with nine rebounds and six assists on eight of 11 shooting while Harrison Barnes chipped in with 22 points. As a team, the Kings shot 44 percent from the field and 15 of 44 from the 3-point line as they worked hard to erase an early 17-point deficit, only to go cold and score just five points in the final 4:53 to allow the Pelicans off the hook in the end.

Minnesota Timberwolves

Meanwhile, the Minnesota Timberwolves have quietly been one of the hottest teams in the league as they’ve won 10 of their last 11 games and they will be full of confidence following their 112-99 win over the shorthanded 76ers on Wednesday. Anthony Edwards led the way with 31 points and six assists on 11 of 22 shooting, Karl-Anthony Towns added 23 points with 11 rebounds, three assists and two blocks, while Rudy Gobert chipped in with 13 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks. As a team, the Timberwolves shot 48 percent from the field and 10 of 26 from the 3-point line as they jumped all over the 76ers with 37 points in the first quarter to take an early 21-point lead, before they kept the 76ers at bay in the second half to keep their win streak alive.

Peter’s Pick

The Kings are a little shorthanded here with Keegan Murray, Alex Len and Keon Ellis all out, while the Timberwolves are still without Jaden McDaniels. The Kings had peeled off six impressive wins before back to back losses to the Pelicans, but the Timberwolves open as the favorites at home given their recent form. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if the Kings pulled off the upset on the road, but the Timberwolves are currently the hottest team in the league and they are a perfect 7-0 at home this season, so that’s where I’m leaning.
